At A&E Leisure, we are committed to making our products affordable and accessible to as many people as possible, which is why we offer a variety of delivery options.

Standard deliveries occur between 7am and 9pm, Monday through Friday, excluding UK Bank Holidays e.g. an order placed after 2pm on a Friday for Next-Day Delivery will be delivered the following Tuesday. Please note that Bank Holidays are not considered working days and should not be included in order processing times.

During peak seasonal periods, delivery times may be extended due to increased demand across courier networks. We recommend placing time-sensitive orders well in advance.

All delivery timeframes provided are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Estimated delivery timeframes begin from the date of dispatch, not the date the order is placed. Delivery performance is dependent on third-party carriers and external factors outside of our control.Where no delivery date is agreed, goods must be delivered within a reasonable time (typically 30 days).

Delivery Details

• Signature Required: A large portion of orders require a signature upon delivery.
• Insured Shipping: Valuable items are shipped using an insured service for added protection.
• Standard Shipping: Smaller or lower-value orders are sent via FedEx.

Additional Terms

• Remote or Large Deliveries: For orders to remote areas or for oversized/valuable items, additional delivery charges may apply. We will always contact you to discuss options prior to applying extra charges.
• Adjustments to Delivery Fees: We reserve the right to adjust our delivery charges as needed. Any changes will be updated on this page.
• Delivery Refusals: We reserve the right to refuse delivery in certain circumstances or to adjust charges if the incorrect delivery type is selected. In exceptional cases, we may also decline to provide delivery service.

Inspecting Your Delivery
Please inspect your goods as soon as is reasonably possible after delivery and notify us promptly if there are any visible signs of damage, shortage, or other issues. This helps us resolve problems quickly with you.

This does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Signing for the goods only confirms that the goods were delivered to you or your representative — it does not mean you have accepted them as fault-free or waive any rights to report issues.

Failed Delivery
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure someone is available to accept delivery on the agreed delivery date and that suitable access is available for delivery vehicles. If delivery cannot be completed due to:

• Customer absence
• Restricted or unsuitable access
• Unsafe or blocked delivery conditions
• Incorrect or incomplete address details

We reserve the right to charge any redelivery costs incurred. Where goods are returned to us due to failed delivery, additional delivery charges may apply before goods are re-dispatched.

Delivery of Large or Palletised Items
Where items are delivered on a pallet or via a specialist courier, delivery is deemed complete once the goods are unloaded at the delivery address and made available at ground level. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that appropriate access is available for delivery vehicles.

Deliveries are made to ground floor level only. Drivers are not insured to carry goods inside properties or upstairs.

Storage Fees
Some courier partners charge storage fees where goods remain undelivered after multiple delivery attempts. Where goods are held by a courier due to failed delivery or customer delay, we reserve the right to pass on any storage fees charged to us by the carrier. If goods are returned to us due to non-delivery and the customer no longer wishes to proceed with the order, storage, return carriage, and administrative costs may be deducted from any refund.

Refused Deliveries
If a customer refuses delivery of goods that are not faulty or incorrectly supplied, the order will be treated as a return under our standard returns policy. Any direct costs incurred by us for the return of the goods — including outbound delivery charges, return carriage, and any applicable storage fees — may be deducted from the refund.

This does not affect your statutory rights where goods are faulty or misdescribed.

Risk in the Goods
Goods remain our responsibility until delivered to you or to a person identified by you to accept delivery. Once delivered, the goods are held at your risk.

International Delivery
For orders shipped outside the United Kingdom, customers are responsible for all import duties, taxes, customs fees, and other charges that may be imposed by the destination country. These costs are not included in the purchase price or shipping charges quoted at checkout and must be paid by the customer.

We recommend that customers check the regulations, duties, and fees applicable in their country before placing an international order. A&E Leisure is not responsible for delays, additional charges, or confiscation of goods by customs authorities.

Customers may also be required to provide additional information or documentation to complete customs clearance. Failure to provide this information may result in delays, return of goods, or additional charges, which will be the customer’s responsibility.
