The Kampa Dometic Connecting pole and clamp set is the most secure method of attachment to attach a Drive-away awning for vehicles which have a deep gutter, meaning there isn't a need for fitting an awning rail to you vehicle.
This is used on Kampa Dometic awnings which has a sleeve sewn along the length of the tunnel which the pole simply slides into. The pole then would rest in the gutter on the vehicle and is then secure using the clamps supplied with the kit.
