The Wild Country Helm Elite 1 is engineered for solo adventurers who need a lightweight, durable and highly packable one-person backpacking tent for wild camping, long-distance trekking and bikepacking. As the elite version of the award-winning Helm Compact 1, this upgraded model delivers reduced weight, increased performance and enhanced sustainability without compromising strength or stability.

With a minimum weight of just 1.57kg and a compact 35cm × 17cm packed size, the Helm Elite 1 fits easily into a rucksack, bikepacking harness or pannier system. The free-standing, semi-geodesic design provides impressive strength on uneven, rocky or exposed terrain, making it a dependable choice for demanding backpacking routes.

Updated for 2025, the tent features a recycled, PFC-free flysheet, inner and groundsheet, combining sustainability with long-lasting durability. The 20D silicone/PU flysheet (4000mm HH) and 5000mm HH groundsheet ensure reliable protection in prolonged rain, while effective ventilation minimises condensation for a more comfortable sleeping space.

Access is simple through a single C-shaped side entry door, with a spacious front porch for gear, cooking kit and wet equipment. A rear under-fly storage area adds further convenience for stashing items without cluttering the sleeping area. Pitching and packing are fast and efficient thanks to the Easy Pitch and Easy Pack systems.

Durable Superflex alloy poles, Dyneema reflective guylines and 12 alloy V-angle pegs provide a secure, stable set-up even in challenging wind conditions.
