The Wild Country Norte Compact 2 is a lightweight and spacious
two-person backpacking tent designed for trekkers, bikepackers and backpackers who want
reliable weather protection, comfortable interior space and fast pitching. Built using recycled,
solution-dyed
,
PFC-free materials, it offers sustainable and adaptable performance for three-season adventures.
With a maximum weight of 2.21kg and a compact 34cm × 19cm packed size,
the Norte Compact 2 is easy to transport while providing generous living space. The
228cm length, 127cm width and 100cm headroom create
a comfortable sleeping and sitting area for two people. Dual side-entry doors ensure convenient access and
improved airflow, while the end-ventilation system helps reduce condensation.
The tent uses
solution-dyed
, recycled and PFC-free fabrics, including a
68D Polyester Ripstop flysheet (4000mm HH) and a 5000mm HH recycled groundsheet,
offering excellent durability and waterproofing. These materials reduce environmental impact while maintaining
long-term performance.
One of the standout features is the dual trekking-pole awning system, created via zippered
flysheet sections. This allows campers to form two separate sheltered extensions for cooking, shade or
additional storage. The tent also supports replacing alloy end poles with walking poles, offering a
weight-saving alternative for ultralight expeditions.
With a single-pole architecture and Easy Pitch / Easy Pack system, setup is
quick and intuitive. Superflex alloy poles, reflective yellow guylines and V-angle pegs deliver
a secure and visible pitch in varied conditions. A lifetime warranty and
2-year accidental pole replacement policy ensure long-term reliability.
